Mines on the built-in GPU. Reads the network census, so the pool card says whether your pool is paying, paused or not answering. No node, nothing to sync.
Windows runs the Linux build under WSL2. That is the current engine, and it is the one to take: the old native build stopped at v0.8.8 in June, before the MatMul v4.7 change, so it cannot solve today's proof of work. The guide walks WSL2 through in a few lines.
The most current build. Ships the ENC-RC capable MATADOR engine and reads the network census, so the pool card says whether your pool is paying, paused or not answering.
Verify before you run it. easyBTX is an unsigned indie build, so antivirus tools often flag any GPU miner. Check the published SHA-256 and the public VirusTotal scan for your build. A clean scan is reassurance, not a guarantee.

Mines through blocked networks
When a network blocks the pool, easyBTX falls back to TLS on port 443, so it keeps mining with no VPN needed.

Release history
78 tagged releases and counting, snapshot 12 October 2026. Each links to its GitHub page, with the binaries and SHA notes for that build. The milestones are marked.
Send only ever checked a wallet's first 200 coins, so a miner could move about 3 of the 50 BTX mined. Every coin is checked now, Max splits into several transactions when one cannot hold them all, and block rewards younger than 100 blocks are left out instead of sinking the whole send.
Always starts on BTX Pool, keeps the share count on the engine side so an accepted share is never lost, calls pool payouts pool payouts and says so when the pool is busy.
BTX Pool sets each miner's share target from the speed it reports, and the Mac never reported one, so it could wait five to seven hours for a share. It reports now. Same day, 0.28.3 to 0.28.6 make BTX Pool the start pool and say when the pool is busy.
A fresh Mac no longer starts by dialling Byron Bay, which its operator has paused. BTX Pool is the default and Byron leaves the automatic failover chain.
Linux and WSL ship a Latin-subset face and no symbol font, so several marks drew as empty boxes. Each replacement was checked against the fonts actually installed, and a unit test now fails CI if one comes back.
Everything Mac got on 10 September. The pool card says paying, paused or not answering instead of sitting on connecting, and balances read api.btxscan.io rather than the explorer that died in August.
Reads the easybtx network census, so the pool card reports whether a pool is paying, paused by its operator or offline, and names the pools that are paying even when easyBTX cannot reach them.
The chain split warning against a second pool, the live solver switch with honest engine labels and fees, and pool statistics that come from your own pool.
